Tuesday Trail Talk: March 4, 2025
Spring is Upon Us
Nice warm weather has been teasing us, followed by more snow. Welcome to springtime in Wyoming! While March 20th officially marks the first day of spring, that doesn’t mean the snow season is over. We will continue to pack and groom singletrack trails as long as the snow persists – including the snow coming in the next few days. However our aim is not to postpone the beginning of mountain biking and hiking season by overpacking. We have received reports that Glendo is in great condition with minimal snow. As for all other trails, be sure to be prepared for winter conditions.
Duncan Ranch Update
We, along with OECC had an informational meeting with the new possible energy lease at Duncan Ranch. We are advocating for non-motorized recreation to be left untouched in that area. We will be sitting in on the Converse County Commissioners meeting this coming 18th. We hope to utilize this forum to spread awareness and advocate for central Wyoming's trails. Please contact us for more information.
