Late Season Maintenance

If you have been following us on Facebook and Instagram, you have seen that we have been taking care of some tree issues on Eadsville. We have had multiple reports of blowdown trees and some stressed tree breaks creating very hazardous trail conditions. We ask that if you come across a large downed tree on the trail, you consider contacting us to remove it.  Many partially down or “hung” trees have hidden dangers that could injure or kill someone who is not prepared to handle that situation. CWTA staff has over 24 years of hazard tree mitigation experience and a great working partnership with a certified arborist.  We will be wandering the trails in the coming days to address more tree concerns on the Casper Mountain trail system and Bridle Trail. We will gladly remove newly downed trees that we are unaware of if you contact us. We are typically able to remove the hazard the same day or next morning. Stay safe on the trails!

First Planning Meeting

We are honored to share that we have been awarded a $45k grant from the State of Wyoming to proceed with planning and design for the Sedar Draw All-Wheeled park in Casper. We recently had our first meeting with the design team from American Ramp Co. and City of Casper.  We are excited to move forward with this amazing project and equally excited for what this will bring to central Wyoming.  We are in preliminary planning stages right now but will have a public survey available soon. There are two major benchmarks set: one in six weeks, and one in 12-14 weeks. Please consider supporting this project and help grow outdoor recreation for our families and visitors.
