A day late!

Grooming Update

This past Friday, we groomed through the snowstorm to help keep the trails established. However, heavy winds and additional snowfall have made grooming efforts challenging. We decided to take advantage of the cold weather and high winds to make some modifications to the Snowdog. These upgrades include adding extra lighting and protective features to the machine, as well as building a new grooming plate to improve trail quality.

Later this week, we plan to pack and groom the trails again, taking advantage of the warmer days ahead. We’re excited to debut the new upgrades to the groomer and, as always, are incredibly grateful to all our supporters who make consistent trail work and advocacy possible.

Douglas Mountain Bike Park and Trails

We are excited to announce that the planning phase for multi-use trails in Douglas is complete! Trail design, layout, flagging, and other logistics are all set. Now, we’re waiting for a break in the weather to start work on the first phase: a beginner loop and bike park access trail.

This is an incredible project in partnership with OECC and The City of Douglas. Stay tuned for updates as we make progress on this brand-new trail system!

Trail Update

All central Wyoming trails are feeling the effects of winter. Please plan accordingly when heading out to explore these winter spaces. Low temperatures combined with high winds create extremely hazardous conditions if you’re not adequately prepared.

We hope to see you on the trails soon!
