2024: A Remarkable Year for Central Wyoming Trails Alliance
2024 has been an outstanding year for the Central Wyoming Trails Alliance, and none of our achievements would have been possible without the incredible support of our community. We are deeply grateful for the opportunities that have enabled us to grow and create more outdoor recreation spaces. Our ever-expanding partnerships have also been instrumental in our success, serving as the cornerstone of our accomplishments.
Key Accomplishments in 2024
Designed and completed a new beginner trail at Duncan Ranch.
Constructed and installed an arch bridge and trail feature at Duncan Ranch.
Designed and completed 2.7 miles of new trail on Casper Mountain.
Initiated and nearly completed Casper Mountain's first double-black trail.
Began construction on the McMurry Mountain Park loop trail.
Welcomed an Executive Director to our team.
Hosted numerous volunteer events.
Added 5 miles of winter-groomed trail.
Conducted extensive trail maintenance and tree work.
Designed a new logo and a new website.
Looking Ahead to 2025
We are excited about the opportunities that 2025 will bring, including several new projects and ongoing initiatives:
Completing the McMurry Mountain Park trails.
Advancing the KayLinn Master Plan trails.
Designing and completing the Douglas Mountain Bike trail system.
Enhancing the Bridle Trail network.
Expanding our capacity with the addition of a seasonal trail crew.
Offering new and exciting merchandise that showcases our new branding.
We are optimistic about building new partnerships and collaborations in 2025 and look forward to another year of growth and achievement!
