Miner Loop Addition Underway
If you have visited the Casper Mountain Trails System recently you may have noticed new trails are under construction. We are over 50% completed and your new trails are almost ready for use! Keep in mind this addition is a green, or easy level trail addition. With the two new trails (Mine Shaft and Fools Gold) you can enjoy an additional mile of trail with many loop options. This trail is set within the center of Miner Loop with trailheads at the new lodge area, mid system, and on the highest point of the Miner loop trail. You will be able to enjoy undulating sections of downhill flow, minor rock and root obstacles, gentle climbs, and a log-lined lodge pole forest trail, which is stride-type bike friendly. We do ask that while under construction you refrain from utilizing these trails, as there may be unplanned obstacles within the construction area. We will be continuing construction this week with a planned trail soft opening beginning of next week. See you on the trails!
Monday Trail Nights are Back!!
With the amazing help we have received we will be offering volunteer trail nights every Monday night! These build/maintenance nights will coincide with the Fatfish and CAMBYR events as well. Please watch our calendar for updates and times for these events. FYI, if Fatfish is racing we are still building. If you or your work team wants a custom tailored trail day please contact us to schedule a time to enjoy the outdoors and get your hands dirty!
