Big Changes Coming to CWTA

We will soon be launching our new website and new logo. In the coming weeks we will announce our new look and provide access to information that the community can utilize in a better format. We are also very excited to have enough partial funding to start our new Trail/Executive Director on a part time basis. What this means for trails in Central Wyoming is well… more completed mileage of trails, expansion of trails programs, increased number of organized volunteer build days, more community interaction projects, and more. This position is vital to the success of the Kay Linn Master plan implementation, Bridle trail maintenance program, Casper Mountain Trails System expansion, trail maintenance program development and winter trail expansion/grooming. We are still in need of specific funding needs for our programs and will be announcing those needs in the coming weeks as well. We hope to see you on the trails!

Donation Spotlight

This week we would like to thank Bonnie for the generous donation to assist us in the purchase of a replacement chain saw. This shows truly how much community support we have and we are thankful for every donor, volunteer and advocate for the advancement of non-motorized soft surface trails in Central Wyoming.

Volunteers Nights are Underway

We have been leading Volunteer build nights on Monday for Fatfish racing and will soon be hosting build nights for CAMBYR. Everyone is invited and we encourage you to participate if you have an interest in playing in the dirt. This season to date we have had over 70 volunteers that exceeds 400 hrs of in-kind trail work so far. That number exceeds $8,000 in value to our community. The next build night is scheduled for Monday the 15th and will be Fatfish racing’s 2nd build night. If you or your organization wants a dedicated trail event please contact Austin at caspertrails@gmail.com to schedule a build day/evening.
