Douglas Mountain Trails Phase I

We are thrilled to share that we are making great progress in creating a truly unique trail system! Over the past 13 days, our dedicated team has been hard at work constructing trails in this exciting new multiuse area. We’re proud to announce that the main loop trail, spanning approximately 1.25 miles, is nearly complete—a significant milestone in our project.

In addition to the main loop, we have also begun constructing other trails within the system. However, due to frozen ground, we have temporarily paused work. As spring approaches and the weather improves, we look forward to resuming construction and making further progress on these additional trails.

This past Sunday, we were honored to take part in the official "groundbreaking ceremony" alongside the City of Douglas and our area partners. It was incredible to see so many excited residents attend the event and show their support.

We are beyond excited about the developments in this area and can’t wait to see the finished trail system. We’ll keep you updated on our progress and let you know when work resumes in the coming months. There are so many exciting things ahead, and we can’t wait to share them with you! Thank you for your continued support and enthusiasm—together, we are building something truly special for the Douglas community.
